Moss + Straw was the name I personally gave the beautifully hip, organic, sustainable wedding of Peter Jackson Hussey and Ms. Katrine Hildebrandt. Peter and Kate, both rad surfers, artists, and good friends, live on the coast of Maine with their newly adopted pup, Clyde.
The ceremony, held at an amazing off-the-grid venue located in East Meredith, New York was full of eco-chic, DIY design, and eclectic art direction. From the table design, to the props for the photo booth, to the menu of local beer, salads, breads and the slaughter of one locally-raised pig instead of trucking in hundreds of slain chickens.
The day was directed and photographed with the look + feel of a 1950's Upstate New York picnic and was recently featured in the online wedding magazine ~ www.oncewed.com
